Ms. Sia

Ms. Sia is a certified teacher, accomplished singer, and experienced multi-instrumentalist. She holds a diploma in Music Pedagogy from the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, Austria.
Since 2010, she has been teaching piano and violin to students of all ages and levels. Her approach is intuitive and student-centered, grounded in a deep understanding of each learner’s individual needs and interests. She integrates artistic methods and visualizations to inspire creativity and deepen musical expression. Music theory is seamlessly woven into each lesson and applied directly through the pieces studied.
As students progress, Ms. Sia offers dedicated preparation for Trinity and ABRSM exams.
Outside of individual lessons, she has led choirs, performed with orchestras, and written and produced school musicals. She also creates content for live-streamed concerts and music videos, expanding musical engagement beyond the classroom.
Improvisation plays a central role in Ms. Sia’s teaching and artistic work. Her passion lies in blending musical genres to create rich and original compositions, drawing on influences from Western Classical, Pop, Jazz, Folk, Indian Classical music, and the Native American flute.

Ms. Wenshan

Ms. Wenshan is an active pianist, collaborator, and educator.
Ms. Wenshan holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from Texas Tech University, a Master of Music degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a Bachelor of Music degree from Xi’an Conservatory of Music.
Ms. Wenshan received a scholarship at Texas Tech University and was offered a teaching assistant position. She collaborated with the Texas Tech University Symphony Orchestra and Concert Band from 2022-2023.
Ms. Wenshan offers personalized instruction to students of all ages, from beginners to adults, tailoring lessons and teaching approaches to meet each student's diverse needs and skill levels. She worked as a full-time private piano teacher at Xinghai Music Academy for four years in China. She also served as a teaching assistant for group piano at UCO and the Guadalupe-Parkway group piano program. As an experienced private piano and group piano teacher, Ms. Wenshan fosters each student’s growth. She has been dedicated to guiding students through their piano education, helping them develop their technical skills musically, and understanding music theory.

Ms. Kenzi

Ms. Kenzi is a passionate and multi-talented musician with a unique ability to play by ear and quickly replicate any song on the piano. Her musical journey began at the age of seven when she received her first keyboard and started playing a variety of songs without formal instruction. She later took piano lessons for two years but continued to develop her skills independently, demonstrating exceptional auditory recognition and musical adaptability.
During middle school, Ms. Kenzi expanded her musical expertise by playing percussion in Cedar Park’s symphonic band, where she had the honor of performing at the prestigious Midwest Clinic in Chicago. In high school, her self-taught approach extended to guitar and bass, further enriching her musical versatility.
While she has a foundational understanding of music theory, including key signatures, time signatures, and note reading, Ms. Kenzi’s greatest strength lies in her extraordinary pitch accuracy and ability to learn and reproduce songs effortlessly on the piano.
Beyond music, Ms. Kenzi has extensive experience working with students of all ages. As a certified instructor in the martial art of Tang Soo Do, she has been teaching for over five years, working with individuals ranging from young children to adults. Her background in martial arts instruction has equipped her with exceptional skills in keeping students engaged, focused, and motivated in their learning.
Ms. Kenzi’s dedication to both music and teaching makes her an inspiring and dynamic instructor, helping students develop their musical skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Ms. Kelly

Ms. Kelly is a Malaysian pianist and educator who recently earned her Master of Music in Piano Performance from Texas State University under Dr. Jason Kwak. During her time there, she held a Graduate Instructional Assistantship and was awarded a Graduate Merit Fellowship, a Keyboard Scholarship, and the Brunner/Whalin Scholarship Endowment for excellence in piano accompaniment.
Ms. Kelly has performed extensively as a soloist and collaborative pianist in both Malaysia and the USA, including chamber recitals, duets, and music showcases. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Malaya and earned Associate and Licentiate performance diplomas with distinction from Trinity College London in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
Passionate about teaching, Ms. Kelly has led workshops, worked with a wide range of vocalists and instrumentalists, and served as president, conductor, and pianist of the SMK Chung Hua Miri choir. Under her leadership, the choir earned multiple championships between 2014 and 2018, and she received the Best Conductor Award at the 2017 Miri Inter-School Patriotic Song Choir Competition.

Ms. Wendy is an experienced music teacher, pianist, singer, mom of five, and grandma of three. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education from John Brown University and holds her Texas Teaching Certificate for Prek through 12th-grade music.
Over the years, Ms. Wendy has taught piano lessons and voice lessons, led children's choirs and worship bands, directed musicals, and taught elementary music in Round Rock ISD and Georgetown ISD. She believes it's most important for children to LOVE music and to have FUN while they learn!

Ms. Jinni

Ms. Jinni began her musical journey at the age of five with her first piano lesson. She is an experienced music teacher with a passion for nurturing vocal talent and fostering a love for music in students of all ages. With over 10 years of voice and piano teaching experience, she has had the privilege of working with choirs and individual students across the globe. Ms. Jinni brings together diverse cultures and musical traditions through the universal language of song. She developed her vocal technique and music skills at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing, where she earned her Music Education Bachelor’s degree in 2018. Later that year, she moved to the United States to pursue a Master’s Degree in Voice Performance at The Mannes School of Music at The New School in NYC. In the spring and summer of 2019, she participated in Mannes Opera’s production of Street Scene by Kurt Weill, the International Vocal Arts Institute (IVAI), and the Savannah Voice Festival. That same year, she was a studio artist with Pittsburgh Festival Opera, where she performed the role of Min in the new opera The Night Flight of Minerva's Owl and covered the role of Xanthe in Richard Strauss's Die Liebe der Danae.
Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms. Jinni's passion for performance led her and her colleagues to hold a series of recitals entitled "Art Songs of the World" across venues in Connecticut and Massachusetts. In 2021, she joined the Doctor of Musical Arts program in Opera Performance at The Butler School of Music at The University of Texas at Austin and became a member of the Butler Opera Center.
Over the 2022-2024 seasons, she portrayed several principal roles in the Butler Opera Center's major productions, including Micaëla in Carmen, “Ma” Zegner in Proving Up, Giulietta in Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Musetta in La Bohème, and Lisa in The Queen of Spades. Additionally, she played the role of Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus at FAVA Opera. She also served as an apprentice and outreach artist with OPERA San Antonio's Young Artist Program during the season of 2022.

Ms. Yagmur

Ms. Yağmur is a composer and music educator originally from Türkiye. Ms. Yağmur began her musical journey at Manisa Fine Arts High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Balıkesir University. Most recently, she completed her Master of Music degree in Composition at Texas State University, where she also taught the Essential Musicianship class as a teaching assistant.
Ms. Yağmur has extensive teaching experience in piano, violin, ukulele, and music theory, having taught a wide range of students in Türkiye and Austin, TX. She enjoys working with all age groups and is passionate about helping each student grow with confidence and joy through music. Ms. Yağmur also participated in a national children’s arts festival in Turkey, further developing her commitment to creative, student-centered education. Her lessons are designed to be engaging, imaginative, and tailored to each student’s unique needs. Ms. Yağmur strives to create a supportive environment where students feel inspired to express themselves musically and achieve their full potential.

Ms. Tian

Ms. Tian is a lyric coloratura soprano and dedicated educator. She is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts in Opera Performance at the University of Texas at Austin. She holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Music from Xiamen University.
As a performer, Ms. Tian has appeared in diverse operatic roles, including Adele (Die Fledermaus), Barbarina (Le Nozze di Figaro), and Suor Dolcina (Suor Angelica). She has also covered roles such as Annina (La Traviata) and Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro). In addition to full productions, she has performed in opera scenes as Ilia (Idomeneo), Sifare (Mitridate), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Hanna (Die Lustige Witwe), and Zerlina (Don Giovanni).
Ms. Tian is an award-winning vocalist, having won the Vocal Open Group at the 8th Hong Kong International Music Festival and received the Golden Prize at the Scriabin International Arts Festival.
As a teacher, Ms. Tian has extensive experience working with students in China and the United States. She is passionate about helping singers develop healthy vocal technique, strong musicianship, and expressive artistry. She enjoys working with students of all ages and particularly loves teaching children, creating a fun and encouraging learning environment that fosters their confidence and creativity. Her teaching approach is adaptable to each student's needs, whether they are aspiring professionals or simply exploring their love for music.

Ms. Allison

An Austin native, Ms. Allison graduated from Westwood High School where she was actively involved in choir, track and cross-country. Upon graduation, she entered the School of Music at Texas State University in San Marcos where she continued studies in piano performance while completing coursework for a degree in music with certification in elementary and choral music education. While in college, she served as accompanist to various vocal and instrumental students, as well as to the Women’s Choir. In the summer of 2005, she toured with the Texas State Chorale, singing in performances in Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, and Prague.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree, Ms. Allison began her teaching career. She has taught ten years of elementary music to children from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, and six years of middle school piano classes. Ms. Allison has taught private piano lessons and served as accompanist for the Tapestry Singers, various middle and high school performances, and the Palm Valley Lutheran Church Choir in Round Rock.
Currently, Ms. Allison is beginning her third season serving as Principal Accompanist for the Round Rock Community Choir. Aside from making music, Ms. Allison enjoys fitness, participating in half-marathons, and time with her Dachshund puppy.

Ms. Taylor

Ms. Taylor Wang is an accomplished solo and collaborative pianist who has performed across the U.S. and internationally in Canada, Italy, and Germany. Her notable appearances include Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, NPR’s From the Top, and the PianoArts North American Competition. She has extensive experience working with both vocalists and instrumentalists and has collaborated at institutions such as the Peabody Institute, SongFest, and Houston Grand Opera’s Young Artist Vocal Academy.
Ms. Taylor earned her Bachelor of Music from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University and is currently pursuing her Master of Music degree under renowned pianist Boris Slutsky. Her teaching philosophy is holistic and student-focused, blending music theory, ear training, and various musical styles to support each student’s personal and musical growth. She is also passionate about music outreach and is the founder of Peabody at the Shelter, a program that brings live music to underserved communities.

Mr. Jay

Mr. Jay is a pianist, composer, and performer from San Antonio, Texas. He has experience teaching classical piano, jazz piano, and pop genres, music theory, composition, guitar, and ukulele.
He enjoys combining different musical traditions and cultures into something new and unique. He studied piano and composition at Southwestern University where he earned a Bachelor of Music Composition degree. Then, he went on to earn a Master of Music in Composition degree from Texas State University. He is an active performer in the Austin music scene and plays regularly with several local bands as a keyboardist.
Mr. Jay has written music for everything from concert band pieces to songs with voice and solo acoustic guitar. He has experience with recording and music software as well as electronic composition. Along with piano, composition, and songwriting, he has a great interest in lesser known instruments such as the ocarina, melodica, jaw harp, asalato, and the musical saw.
Mr. Jay's top priority in teaching is guiding his students to form their own special relationship with music. He believes everyone connects with music in their own way, and the best way for it to enrich their lives is by discovering that way for themselves. He balances his own passion for music with his education and a personalized approach to learning. Music is one of life's greatest gifts, and Jay wants above all else to help his students feel that for themselves.

Austin's own Ms. Melody is a mezzo-soprano and vocal coach. She works with private students of all ages, teaching piano, classical, musical theatre, and contemporary style singing.
As a performer, she has captivated audiences with her warm and rich voice. Graduated from the Butler School of Music program at UT Austin, she has shared the stage in numerous productions with singers from Broadway and The Metropolitan Opera. She performs with Austin Opera, Zach Theatre, Chorus Austin, LOLA Austin, and Inversion Ensemble as well as solo concerts for her community. She wants to share her gift of music with everyone to make them feel happiness and love.
